In April, 2018, IFE Elevator won the bid of AVIC Astoria Apartment project, which is located at Colombo, Sri Lanka. The total construction area is approximately 143,000 square meters, and it consists of two 42-story towers, one 33-story tower, one 18-story tower, and 4-story annex, mainly for residential, commercial and garage. The IFE Elevators will give solution with 9 units high speed elevators, 1 freight elevator, 2 escalators and 8 medium speed elevators for the ASTORIA project.

 
AVIC International, a wholly-owned subsidiary of a world top 500 central enterprise Aviation Industry Corporation of China, will develop the first real estate project ASTORIA Luxury Condominium Project in Sri Lanka, which will be a model“One Belt One Road” project, for China’s expansion of Sri Lanka, embodying that Chinese government commit to enhance economic cooperation with Sri Lanka.
